The other morning Deb Hartje showed up at the Shawnee Chamber networking/coffee meeting to tell us what the Trinity Lutheran church was doing to put their Faith in Action. Instead of worshipping in the sanctuary on Sunday morning, the congregation was going to go into the community and serve. They had several projects going on simultaneously, more than enough choice for everyone to find a way to help.
This struck a chord with me, so I volunteered to wander around and take some photos (instead of actually working

Thanks Deb. It was fun to meet and chat with all of the kind folks at the various projects. I even bumped into my old neighbor, Jane Loza, and her daughters at the Pet Connection. I got a very strong sense of fellowship from everyone, your Faith in Action is my kind of worship.
